I Feel For You...

If’n you aren’t familiar with Samhain and their place in the Danzig oeuvre (look at that fancy word) you can check out last week’s post about their debut album.

UNHOLY PASSION

Regardless of how you may or may not feel about Danzig and his various projects, he has a killer eye and mind for creating enduring and iconic art around his projects.

While Samhain may be the lesser known of his output, I think they have some of the best visuals between them, the Misfits, and the Danzig band releases, and “Unholy Passion” is my personal favorite.

The sickly yellow with the blown out, photocopied, black and white band image and the weird demon hovering over them. Its classic punk on the evil level and it so perfectly encapsulates this albums super rough and raw sound.

I knew I had to use the colors when doing up these six songs, there was no other choice.
